Malte Steiner aus Hamburg ist bereits seit
rund 20 Jahren als Musiker, Klangforscher und Künstler aktiv und kann auf
eine große Zahl an Veröffentlichungen auf MC, Vinyl und CD zurück blicken.
Zudem gibt er Workshops in elektronischer Musik und nimmt immer wieder
aktiv an Kunstprojekten, Installationen und Ausstellungen teil.
Mit seinen diversen Musikprojekten wie Das Kombinat, Elektronengehirn,
Konform und natürlich NOTSTANDSKOMITEE hatte Steiner vor allem in der
„schwarzen Szene“ einige Clubhits (wie „Mutter Plastik“, „Gebärmutter“),
konnte sich aber auch in der experimentellen Electro-Gemeinde, irgendwo
zwischen Techno und Minimal-Electro, und akademischen Kreisen einen Namen
machen.

 Nach
der Veröffentlichung des Tracks „Uhrwerkwelt“ auf dem „World Of Disorder“
12“-Sampler (Disorder Records/Berlin), liegt mit der Single „Souvenirs aus
der Zukunft“ nun eine weitere Aufarbeitung der frühen Tape-Phase von
NOTSTANDSKOMITEE vor. Die vier Titel der Single stammen aus der ersten
Hälfte der 90er Jahre und wurden damals nur auf MC veröffentlicht,
abgesehen von „Abschied“, das bisher nur in ein einer vermixten und
unvollständigen Version auf einem CD-Sampler erhältlich war. Hier gibt es
nun eine bisher unveröffentlichte Version des Stückes zu hören.
Die vier Stücke zeigen die eingängige Seite von NOTSTANDSKOMITEE und
dürften sichere Hits auf allen möglichen Minimal-Electro-Partys der
näheren Zukunft sein. |

About NOTSTANDSKOMITEE
Malte Steiner from Hamburg works for round about 20 years as musician,
sound-researcher and artist and looks back on a big number of releases on
Tape, Vinyl and CD. He also gives workshops for electronic music and takes
part in various art projects, installations and exhibitions.
His musical projects like Das Kombinat, Elektronengehirn, Konform and of
course NOTSTANDSKOMITEE had some Clubhits (like „Mutter Plastik“,
„Gebärmutter“), mostly in the Dark Wave-Scene, but have a good name in the
more experimental Electro-scene, somewhere between Techno and
Minimal-Electro, and academic circles too.
After the release of the track „Uhrwerkwelt“ on the „World Of Disorder“-12“-Compilation
(Disorder Records/Berlin), the 7“EP „Souvenirs aus der Zukunft“
(„Souvenirs from the future“) is another view back on the early Tape-days
of NOTSTANDSKOMITEE. All four tracks on the 7“EP are from the early 90s
and have been released only on Tape, except „Abschied“, which was only
available on a CD-Compilation in a really bad mixed and incomplete version.
Now a new version of the title is available on this 7“EP.
All four tracks show the more mainstream side of NOTSTANDSKOMITEE and
surely will be Hits on all Minimal-Electro-Partys in the near future. |
